The B’nai Torah Youth Community is a vibrant socially active group that provides a variety of programming for 4th–12th graders and their friends. The Youth Groups are divided into 3 
levels: 4th–5th grade (Chaverim), 6th–8th grade (Chalutzim), and 9th–12th grade (Senior Youth Group). The middle school and high school youth groups provide leadership opportunities to both elected and appointed board positions.
The Youth Groups build and strengthen their ties with other Jewish youth in nearby Jewish communities. 
Through programming that consists of social, holiday, religious and social action activities, we cultivate friendship, Jewish identity, and increase the likelihood of staying connected to the synagogue and to each other through high school and into young adulthood.
We offer many exciting events during the school year including retreats, movie nights, game nights,
chocolate seder, Hanukkah party, and support of the community-wide Walk With Israel.
Marina Shubin moved here from Israel eleven years ago to receive a BS degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and MA degree in Psychology from National Louis University. Prior to living in Israel, Marina grew up in Russia, moving to Israel when she was 9 years old. Marina has been a teacher at B'nai Torah for four years and has worked at several other area synagogues, Jewish institutions public schools,and Universities in both formal and informal settings. This year Marina is very excited to work with the students in Aleph, Bet, Gimmel and Daled classes in Hebrew School. She also is the Youth Group Advisor for the High School youth group and for Hebrew School group as well.
